Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Her move to Texas for the purpose of pursuing an occupation as an Occupational Therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida, Orlando where she performed many acting roles. These included independent local films as well as global commercials. Despite the small parts she quickly discovered her passion for acting. After 2001, she relocated into New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's morning soap opera as Rosa Santos. Her roles were sporadic on JAG: Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. In 2004, she was offered her first major series role on the drama short-lived The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside some of the most renowned TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. The most memorable part of her career took place in the year 2006 on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episode. Her character was later seen on the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza has received numerous nominations in the character's honor, such being Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominations. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded De La Garza the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in drama-based television shows. De La Garza landed a recurring part in CSI Miami a few moments later. Her role was Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent TV appearance was on NBC's darker drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC following only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is Italian and is the younger sibling of Cory. Milano was raised in the strict, religious home of her family. Milano began her acting career at age seven old. Babysitters would take her along to an audition. She was one of four girls selected from among more than 1,000 aspirants. Milano played in television commercials as well as off Broadway shows, including the first American musical rendition of Jane Eyre.
