Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Her move to Texas for the purpose of pursuing an occupation as an Occupational Therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida, Orlando where she performed many acting roles. These included independent local films as well as global commercials. Despite the small parts she quickly discovered her passion for acting. After 2001, she relocated into New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's morning soap opera as Rosa Santos. Her roles were sporadic on JAG: Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. In 2004, she was offered her first major series role on the drama short-lived The Mountain.
